That one – Mere janam maran ke saathi chalo chita par so jaye – is covered in Memorable Songs of 1944, and one solo of Utapala Sen – Jal Jane Do Is Duniya Ko – and Main In PhooloN Ke Sang DoluN Re by Vimla in Meri Bahen, too, are covered in Memorable Songs of 1944.
It is quite likely that, because of hardly knowledge of the Songs of 1944, during my search, I may have missed a few more solo songs of female singers. Recognizing this short coming, I conclude the present Micro View of (Best) Solo Songs of Female Singers for the year 1944 @SoY.

You are doing intensive research on the songs of vintage years. Congratulations. I have observations about identification of singers in two songs:
1. Ram kare kahin naina na uljhe: As per HFGK you have mentioned Tara. It sounds like Rajkumari, and she has done some good mudras for Anil Biswas. I remember on Sa Re Ga Ma when she was asked to sing a song, this was one. I must have read at some place too, I have corrected in my copy of HFGK. You may like to confirm on your own, Mr Harish Raghuvanshi may help.
2. Main in phoolon sang dolun re – I have read some assertion that it is Utpala Sen.
Incidentally both the songs are outstanding.

Thanks for pointing out the possible grey area.
I too had noted that you too have taken Utpala Sen as singer for Main in phoolon sang dolun re in the listing of Memorable Songs of the Year.
In so far as song of these years is concerned, I have next to zero knowledge. So, I have adopted a uniform base of HFGK. Even when YT up-loaders, and those who upload songs of this period certainly will have some basis to u=identify the singer, mention different names, I invariably mention what HFGK has to say on the matter.
My main aim remains to listen to songs of these years under the stimulus of this project, and try to widen up my base of songs that I hear, and if possible, inculcate taste so as to appreciate that music.
On the second count, my listening remains limited to two, or at best three, cycles of listening, and hence no way near developing the taste.
No doubt, you are very meticulous in documentation and references, and I full respect you observations.
